City of Watonga Earth Day

The annual citywide cleanup has been scheduled for April 16-23, 2022.  Dumpsters will be placed at the open lot across from the Armory building 300 block of West Main Street.  Residents can bring items they want to dispose of, old furniture, scrap wood, appliances, etc. will be accepted.

We cannot accept paint, tires, motorized vehicle parts (car, truck, lawnmower, motorcycle, etc.), contractor debris, chemicals, hazardous liquids, medications, roofing shingles, or brush.

The only persons allowed to handle the dumpsters are the City of Watonga staff, please do not access the dumpsters after hours.

Saturday, April 16 & Sunday, April 17-Individual trash off clean up days.  These days are for individuals that want to pick up trash throughout the City of Watonga in public areas.  If you would like to participate, contact Watonga City Hall, 580-623-4669.

Recycle items will be collected at this location during this week only.

Dates and Hours of operation are:

Monday April 18—Friday April 22, 2022—8:00 am until 4:00 pm

Saturday April 23, 2022—9:00 am until 1:00 pm

Location:  300 W. Main Street, Watonga, OK  (across from Armory, vacant lot)
