Event Date:
Saturday, June 18, 2022 - 10:00am to 2:00pm

Mahenwahdose combines the tradition of storytelling with language, traditional flute, drum and comedy. Taught by his elders, the ancestry, language, history and traditions of his Muscogee people, Hill is a storyteller by destiny, not choice, and the performances include stories translated by Hill from the original native language and adapted for the stage.

Two shows--first begins at 10 am and second at 1 pm at Moudry Park (Scout Hut).  Choose your time and join us for this storytelling event.  Bring your lawn chairs or blankets. All ages are welcome.

Thanks to support from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Oklahoma Department of Libraries, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Oklahoma Arts Council, Friends of the Library of Watonga and the City of Watonga!
